when i hear people talk about what Nurture means to them, and how it’s affected their lives, i can’t tell you how happy it makes me.. i feel understood in all the ways you would hope for as artist; like my exact feelings have reached people, in the exact ways i wanted while making it. as a listener, i'd always wondered if my favorite artists could feel what i feel when i listen to their music; with Nurture, i’m CERTAIN that’s happening. i’m CERTAIN that you and me are feeling the same things when we listen to Nurture. it means a lot to me because that highly clear, unambiguous transmission of feeling, where very little is lost or misunderstood along the way, is what i'm always striving for as an artist. it's rare for me and precious to me happy 5th anniversary to this album. thank you to the people who love it... i hope people will continue to feel what i felt for many years to come

@genius_eu @lapighosts yeah, it felt insane to read that no one on the moon cared about what they'd done to phos. but there's ultimately nothing to be gotten from dwelling on it and (I feel) its better to move on and forget/forgive just as phos did

@thatjun3 @lapighosts I'm bitter not simply because phos ending is of hollow realisation with very faint sweetness that's tasted by someone that's not even phos. I'm very bitter because everyone else have no remorse whatsoever for their role in phos life.

But this is honestly forever my fav moment from hnk Like this genuinely changed my brain chemistry!!!

@genius_eu @lapighosts changed, they felt the other gems liked them more since they were more useful. but eventually it led to everything that happened in the manga. Phos acknowledges this before they ultimately get wiped out by the sun. I'd like to think they found peace with the pain they went -

At what point will the community come to it’s senses, realize that going back and forth between streams and aim meta is not the greatest solution, and that maybe we should develop a system that would benefit a balance of both skills… perhaps call it something like hybrid maps?

@genius_eu @lapighosts phos was happy at the end, and I think that's a good ending. they get to be happy telling stories to the tiny rocks for eons, and then get to go to the land of the lustrous. while those who got prayed away would be reincarnated in the cycle, failing what they wanted to achieve.

@lapighosts I'm happy that you like it. But the ending still leaves a very bitter taste to me because in the end all phos get is nothing. Oblivion. Far from the worst ending, but its still bitter.

Does the Shade Lord appearance in Sister of the Void prove HK's Dream No More ending isn't canon? NO! Godhome's attunement is ONE WAY we know to reveal this form in the Knight. That doesn't mean its the ONLY WAY! But I'll admit, it does make ETV the more likely canon over DNM.

“ワンダーラスト”はこれまでに何度かリメイクやリミックスの機会に恵まれて、その度に色々なカタチのワンダーラストをリリースしてきたのですが、今回公開したワンダーラストは、一番原作に近い、それでいて当時表現できなかったエフェクトやアレンジを用いて作った、いわば究極形温故知新(!)なワンダーラストとなりました。 当時この楽曲を聴いてくれていた人、僕の近年リリースされた楽曲を知っていてこの曲をあらたに知る人、新しくこの楽曲に出会う人、それぞれの皆に僕がいま一番聴いてほしい“ワンダーラスト”です。 何気にルカさんには全部歌い直してもらっているし、トラックも原曲の似ている音を当時の環境で書き出しなおしたりしてなんというか地味にめちゃくちゃ時間かかりました…🥹時間が…溶けてゆく… こだわるといったら動画だ！と思ったので(?)、動画も僕が作ってみました。2009年当時持っていたPCで動かせるエフェクトのみを使って制作しています。(※謎のこだわり) ほろさんには楽曲の世界観をより膨らませてとても素敵なイラストを描いてくださいました…！ 機械と生物感のバランスはとても表現が難しかったのではないかと思いますが、キーイラストを見た瞬間の“これぞ！”感！温故知新はいいものだ… オワラナイウタがまだ続いてくれるのも、この歌を皆が聴いてくれるおかげです。 貴方のもとに“うた”は届いていますか？ youtu.be/NneNmdW44BI
