Alan Gustafson's call to stay out on the last caution helped get Chase Elliott the win. Gustafson has now led Chase to two wins in 11 races this season. So, about the critics who rag on Alan for Chase "not winning enough"... "To steal a quote from David Goggins, 'you'll never find a hater who can do it better than you can.' So that's the way I look at it. "... When I go to bed at night, I know the effort that I've put in, I know the effort the team's put in, I know the reality. And people are always going to have an opinion, and unfortunately I think in a lot of cases there's platforms for people who really don't know what they're talking about to voice their opinion, and yeah, people listen to it. "But I'm super fortunate to work for HMS, and I love Chase to death. We have a great relationship and a great team.
