hmmm beyond the obvious class divide & colonizer/colonized dichotomy this scene portrays I think it shows exactly where their character motivations come from at this moment: sokka getting ready for battle alone instead of with his tribes warriors who have all left already,

The difference between Zuko and Sokka getting ready, ugh I just love this scene. We have Zuko with all of his men helping him suit up as he prepares to raid a civilian village. Meanwhile, Sokka is on his own, no backup, preparing to defend his home.

i do sympathize with her grief and trauma, but her being "partnered up" 24/7 meant that she never got the chance to heal properly;;

@gunndrop @loser_lenny ofc! i'm also okay with her being blue, but the reasoning for it was...ugh. arcee and elita aside, i think the ladies have varying non-pink colors...they're just underutilized;; (btw not sure if you know this, but Misfire's a guy with pink/magenta paintjob. i think he looks cool)
