Trying to raise a kind human, take long walks, and not buy too many books I won’t finish. Views expressed are my own.

The biggest mystery in football. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 How — the hell — did England not win a World Cup or European Championship with this group of players.

@thattai @supiebrian @DeadlineDayLive Ok mate. Beckham played for top clubs in every league, Scholes is routinely admired by his peers at that time, even Zidane has said what a good player he was. A.Cole is a left back, one of the least impactful positions on the pitch, so what if he was "world class"

@whitcher_j38836 @supiebrian @DeadlineDayLive To the contrary - Ashley Cole was the only world class player for his position. The rest were bang average. Beckham, Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard, Terry, Ferdinand - all bang average compared to players in similar positions in the French, Brazilian and Italian teams

@SXtreme45 There’s better alternate for Rohit in Jaiswal, Ruturaj and Samson. He needs Kohli to anchor and there’s no better number 3 yet

Sharp exchange as S Jaishankar questioned on US sinking Iranian ship near India Dr. J: If you're asking me a serious question, I will give you a serious reply. Anchor: Is it not a serious question if India is not the net security provider in the Indian Ocean?

Damien Fleming shares a hilarious story about how he somehow ended up as an unexpected guest at Inzamam’s 50th birthday. Not only did he attend, he was even asked to get up and say a few words about how great Inzi was as a player in front of a packed room 😂😂

@HandofArsenal There is a reason Vieira went after this guy all those years ago. There is something deeply rotten about his whole gang, especially him more so. He deserves to be verbally accosted everything he comes on TV but people like @IanWright0 are too timid to do it

The Premier League has reached its peak. This is the highest quality the league has ever been, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If Arsenal win the PL this season, it would mean they’ve won the most competitive Premier League title in history, it would carry more weight than any other PL trophy.

Regardless of everything else, Anthropic’s shipping speed is seriously impressive. Back in my PhD days, I had a terminal app on my phone so I could ssh into my server, monitor training runs, and launch experiments when I was away from my laptop. Now you can orchestrate AI agents to write code on your server straight from your phone, without tying commands or code. Hard to imagine this 1 year ago.

New in Claude Code: Remote Control. Kick off a task in your terminal and pick it up from your phone while you take a walk or join a meeting. Claude keeps running on your machine, and you can control the session from the Claude app or claude.ai/code

@Geiger_Capital @Citrini7 The marginal cost of a white-collar worker with access to AI is still going to be cheaper than an actual human in the US. You have to worry more about why anyone would hire in the US at all for anything white-collar.
