I just saw PHD student saying her paper was stolen by her advisor and he published it under his name. Is this something that opens often ? I am shook




I got dragged by professors on here recently, calling me 'selfish' for publishing my discoveries before I told anyone at the University about them. Research theft is real.




The issue in higher ed is that tbest the bosses will allow for is instruction on “ethical use of AI.” Critical consideration and even rejection are out of bounds. Part of that is bc of their allegiance to “workplace prep,” and part of that is bc of their infantilizing students.




We are steadily blaming technology on the cognitive decline of today’s youth, but casually ignoring the repeated COVID infections we allowed them to get because adults refused to wear masks and practice basic mitigation strategies. They lost their taste, smell… and IQ.







The reading scores are abysmal for one very specific reason. It's driving me a little bonkers to see all these excuses that are avoiding the problem. It's not COVID, cell phones, or kids speaking English as a second language. It's that they're not teaching kids to actually read.
