@Lolade4PF @Goodybagss Because you don’t pay attention to such imam does not stop a little boy in bush from listening to him
Until people start to call out such clerics who say things that are that extreme and is the root of the insecurity in the first place whatever you ask pastors to do is useless
English

@thatuselessdud @Goodybagss Well I’ll argue they don’t like pastors do. It’s a pastors vs imams conversation.
iima, why are imams not getting dragged alongside?
English

@RhodiumPrince @funmitheicon Jesus was killed for religious reasons, He never directly attacked the Roman government he even said give what belongs to ceasar to ceasar.
The clerics didn’t want to lose control so they said he is claiming to be the king of the Jews so the government would get rid of him
English

@thatuselessdud @funmitheicon Jesus spoke against those in authority very strongly, you may call them religious sects but they had a very strong influence on the political and social spheres of that time, they interpreted and adjudicated over the law regulating the Jews for crying out loud-
English

@Lolade4PF @Goodybagss So because the imams are not on social media they don’t have authority and control?
English

@thatuselessdud @Goodybagss I never played the clip. Only asked who that is ? Why will I pay attention to a rando or whatever he has to say.
The pastors getting dragged by their followers are getting it because of the authority and control they have ..
English

@EATHATERO @trigottista I’m not even referring to Abeboye protest or not
I’m saying the people in their 70s and 80s now had it better than us because they were protesting and surporting activists their age when they were younger not just casting blames on others
English

@thatuselessdud @trigottista Adeboye was in his 70s five years ago, was that his prime years?
English

@Lolade4PF @Goodybagss Ohh, so your theory is attack the pastors that say pray and be at peace but continue to ignore sponsors and enablers of bandits to do evil things
Look at the general message-
You leave those who promote violence and attack who is promoting peace
English

@1danfulcreation I should not take government contract to build road because I want to protest government?
English

@thatuselessdud Which Adeboye is rejecting what?
His son who is also a pastor got a road construction contract in Kaduna.😂
Like I said, stop defending what you don't know.
English

Throughout the Bible, prophets frequently condemned corrupt kings, priests, and civil rulers who exploited the vulnerable or led the nation astray.
Pastor Adeboye claims to be a man of God and the church's social media handlers coming out to defend him today speaks ill of him and his teachings.
These people claim to know the world of God (Bible) line by line, but I doubt it.
In 1 Kings 21: 17-22:
Prophet Elijah boldly confronted King Ahab, calling out his wickedness and the murder of Naboth, pronouncing God's judgment upon his house.
But here in Nigeria, a supposed man of God instead of calling out the President who is the GCFR and in charge of the country's security, he decided to deflect and started attacking his service chiefs.
In Micah 3:1-3:
Prophet Micah aggressively called out the rulers who hate good and love evil, violently oppressing the people and building their society on injustice and bloodshed.
Pastor Adeboye for one day never called out Tinubu for his oppression and or the oppression of those under Tinubu.
Nigerians calling him out is totally in order. Aside having branches in every street in Nigeria, Adeboye has really failed Nigerians. I'm not sorry to say this hard truth.
For those blaming it on age, Moses was 80 years old when he stood before Pharaoh and led the Israelites out of Egypt.
English

@1danfulcreation I already said that Daniel prayer was secret, he went into his room to pray, if it was not secret why would they have sneak to catch him praying.
You only know all this because it was recorded, you think the people then had access to know all about what Daniel was doing?
English

@thatuselessdud So the second example I also wrote out. You're too blind to see it too?
English

@1danfulcreation You think it posted on their notification board “Today Daniel rejected the king food” his prayer too was secret
they just know he was in the king palace and am sure other Jews hated him for that
Just same way u don’t know wht Adeboye is rejecting or accepting frm the government
English

Daniel refused to eat the king's rich food and wine because it would violate his religious convictions.
When a law was passed forbidding prayer to anyone except King Darius, Daniel did not hide. He went to his room and prayed openly to God as he always did, accepting the penalty (the lion's den) rather than bowing to a corrupt law.
Stop saying things you don't know.
English

@RhodiumPrince @funmitheicon I know he speak softly against the government, and as you said he controls a large audience, therefore he need to pick his words wisely or anarchy would reign
Jesus is not the example to use if you’re looking for people who speak against government, Jesus didn’t. Read your Bible
English

@thatuselessdud @funmitheicon Dont be dishonest with yourself its very pathetic
No where here did i mention that the church should endorse a particular politician, all I have said is that it must stand for what is right and condemn injustice just as Jesus did
Or is the church not meant to emulate Christ???
English

@trigottista So your advice is for everyone to sit behind a keyboard assigning blame while waiting for people in their 70s and 80s to save the country?
You think those people had their “prime years” because they stayed at home waiting for their elders to lead protests?
English

@Pressman2040 Lmao,
I believe you should be the among the top most funded and taken care of by the government
But the reality is you are underfunded and not as effective as you think you are when Nigerians are dying due to insecurity everyday
Our situation is worse than a war zone
English

Listen here, you brain-dead, oxygen-wasting !d!ot f@@l.
Dissolve the military? The same military bleeding daily in Sambisa, Lake Chad, North Central and the North West so your c0w@rdly a$$ can still type this n0ns£ns£ from safety? Without us, those “ragtag” t£rr0r!sts you fear would turn your entire village into a slaughterhouse before breakfast.
You see external fights and cry “US dey bomb ISIS” like a blind !d!ot. Meanwhile, we’re here facing IEDs, ambushes, and s¥ic!de b0mb£rs with limited resources while protecting ungrateful d0gs like you.
Internal conflict? We’ve rescued thousands, neutralized thousands of t£rr0r1sts, and still stand between you and total anarchy. What do you do except complain like a weak child?
The day we’re not there, you’ll be the first screaming and shitting your pants when b@ndits come for your family.
Stay u$ele$$. We fight for Nigeria, not for parasites like you.
Stay U$£l£$$ m0th£rf¥ck€r
dud@thatuselessdud
@Pressman2040 It is better they dissolve the military you, so that next time we hear they kidnap people we would know that it is because we don’t military to pursue them External conflict we no see you na US dey bomb ISIS, internal conflict them still dey kpai citizens. What exactly to you do?
English

@RhodiumPrince @funmitheicon And when the platform endorses someone that does not deliver on their promise, you begin to mock the pastor for endorsing a failure 😂
The pulpit is not a political platform, it is to preach the Bible
You don’t need pastors to tell you who to vote for, get your pvc and vote
English

@funmitheicon "Endorsing whoever you support" tells me enough about your reasoning if thats all you can pick up from this
We are clamouring for accountability as we have always been from people with very powerful platforms
But as always fighting for nigerians will lead you to fight Nigerians
English

@Allezamani Atheist waiting for pastors who they believe are liars to lead protests sounds ironic doesn’t it
When would you carry your not falling for religious bs trend you developed to the streets, or you only have backbone when you are behind a keyboard?
dud@thatuselessdud
Other countries genz are protesting their government but Nigeria youth always have someone to blame On Sunday it was bcos of davido the country is bad On Tuesday it is bcos of Adeboye I wonder whose fault it would be tomorrow History would definitely remember this generation
English

@_chiceeeyyy Religious people know they shouldn’t vote for Tinubu but na you wey be no believe in God dey wait for pastor to tell not to vote for Tinubu
English

@funmitheicon All those atheists funny sha
Religious people know they shouldn’t vote for Tinubu but na you wey be no believe in God dey wait for pastor to tell not to vote for Tinubu
English

@maxvayshia Religious people know they shouldn’t vote for Tinubu but na you wey be no believe in God dey wait for pastor to tell not to vote for Tinubu
