Ten years and 11 Tony Awards later, there is only one remaining member of the original cast still performing six nights a week. @thaynejasperson, who grew up in Wyoming and Utah, was cast as Samuel Seabury by @Lin_Manuel himself and has played the role since its off-Broadway days. He recently sat down with Deseret News reporter @Lotlotej to talk about his tenure, favorite moments, watching his cast members leave, and when or if he ever plans to leave.

The revolutionary musical about Alexander Hamilton — @HamiltonMusical — was an instant hit following its official Broadway debut on Aug. 6, 2015. It won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for drama and a staggering 11 Tonys, including for best musical.
@thaynejasperson has been one of the longest participating witnesses of it all.
As “Hamilton” celebrates 10 years on Broadway, the actor celebrates his own unique milestone: He’s the sole original cast member remaining in the production.
