I now have 9 of the 29 Nestle Editions of the Novum Testamentum Graece. The oldest is this 13th edition from 1927. This edition, edited by Erwin Nestle (a son of Eberhard, d. 1913), was a landmark in that it was the first to have its own apparatus criticus (see the short description from a German Bible Society pamphlet).

I think they have weak arguments backed by a strong institution I DO believe, unlike most conservative Protestants, that institutions MATTER and hold sway over the common person This is why Catholicism will continue to beat Protestantism until we recover our historic institutions Catholic arguments would be laughed at if they didn’t have the giant institution they do. Objectively, their arguments are no stronger than Oriental Orthodox and Sedevacantist ones, but nobody takes those seriously on account of them having no strong institutions

Continental Reformed 4. Methodist 5. Lutheran 6. Anglican 7. Baptist (historic versions only) 8. Catholic 9. Oriental Orthodox 10. Eastern Orthodox 11. Assyrian Church of the East 12. Everything else, including Evangelical, Pentecostal, Restorationist, etc
