@wmata@NationalsPark@Nationals I went to a game during AU’s Welcome Week freshman year; the car was packed and I was the last person to squeeze in when the door started closing on me and probably out of instinct the father in front of me who was there with his kiddo reached out and grabbed me to pull me on.

I have seen Lemon Drop completely steamroll over a bladder snail before but I imagine when it happens while they’re trapped in the box it’s like one of those cinematic moments where a whale or other large unworldly creature passes in front of a window blocking all the light
Every once in a while I put in a snail trap for the bladder snails and I guess one of the corys decided this is his new perch haha Lemon Drop also decided to join
Ammonia levels finally hit zero today which means the tank might finally be ready for a new fish! Gonna keep testing it over the next week to see if it maintains levels and go from there. Congrats to the snail who I’ve definitely panicked about being dead no fewer than 3 times.

I have my Ring neighborhood alerts set to only show pet issues or ‘major’ crime and every day I get alerts like this and every day I think about that tweet that said how neighborhood apps like this only show just how much fear white people constantly live in. Fucking pathetic.
