The BTJA passes its condolences to the family and friends of Alan Jones, the well-respected British coach who has died after a short illness at the age of 75. Alan received the BTJA's Special Award in 2017 to honour more than 50 years of service to the sport.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Dickson, the Daily Mail tennis correspondent and former BTJA chairman. Mike was a respected colleague and friend, who was in Melbourne covering the 24th Australian Open of his distinguished career. Condolences to his family.
