@AdamColePro has been one of the best professional wrestlers I’ve ever seen since I first started watching him around 2013. I started watching Ring Of Honor randomly one night when I was a kid flipping channels and he was the first guy that caught my eye that wasn’t a “name”. My first big moment with him that I remember is when he won a tournament to become the new ROH champion and immediately turned heel on Jay Briscoe right after. He just had a sauce to him that no one else I’d seen other than maybe Shawn Micheals had. He was one of the coolest wrestlers I’d ever seen. Fast forward a couple years down the line and I got to meet him at a @ringofhonor live event in Duluth, Ga where he was injured and didn’t get to wrestle. He came out on commentary and I accidently hit @realkevinkelly right on the head with a streamer from trying to throw one at Cole to show some love. After the show I asked to meet him and he came out and was genuinely such a sweetheart. He could’ve been super rude, or jaded, or even just all down from the injury but he was not atall that, he was completely the opposite he talked with me for about 15 minutes. I met him 2 more times after that, 1 at another ROH live taping and at Supercard of Honor in 2016 and he was the exact same way everytime. I’ll just never forget that, he could’ve ruined my fandom on wrestling in general and yet he made me love him and wrestling more because of the experiences. For years, I’ve threw my hands up and yelled at my tv “ADAM COLE BAY BAY” as loud as I could when he was on the way or inside the ring, i miss it. I miss seeing Adam Cole come out and ask “Who wants to hear storytime with Adam Cole Bay Bay?”. I miss seeing the 10/10 best superkicks of all time. Hopefully one day he will get to come back and be the man once again.
