Rebecca Otto served Minnesota as Auditor with integrity, honesty, and accountability for 12 years. I’ve admired her for a long time, so her support of my campaign means the world. I can’t thank her enough for this endorsement!

i am going to shit on every person I see that threw him under the bus. The DA let him out of jail, with no bail/or bond. No formal charges. . . I stand with him the same way I did 2 days ago. Until actual evidence and charges arise, get out of here with these false allegations. 6 months jail time if she actually made those allegations. . .

@Peter_Bukowski @tmj4 Because he got to her and paid her or agreed to pay her a lot of money to not talk/ press charges so if she doesn’t cooperate they don’t have about to charge.

Great reporting from @TMJ4 on the dispatch calls. This further raises a question I've been trying to get answers to -- I've reached how to Hobart-Lawrence PD -- to understand why, if they intended to arrest Josh Jacobs on Saturday, he wasn't actually arrested until Tuesday.

@ARdoppelganger It means he’s guilty and he paid off his chick so she won’t press charges so they have nothing to charge him with

Josh Jacobs turning himself in doesn’t mean he’s guilty Josh Jacobs being released today doesn’t mean he’s innocent Maybe we learn to just keep our mouths shut when we don’t know what’s going on, eh?

The argument against zeroing out taxes for the bottom half is that they would then have no skin in the game and any tax increase for the bands above them would seem to be a pure benefit—it’s always easier to tax some else. Result: higher taxes and spending, same problem as now.
Jeff Bezos@JeffBezos

Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.

@BizNasty2point0 Bizzy- Need the glow puck- with today’s tech it would be light years better than the first time around. Look at the NFL, the most popular sport, and the yellow first down line is now a staple because it helps people identify what would otherwise be hard with your eyes alone

@theBuddyFox @DanMyers 5 is a top tier bottom 6 player. Hes also a hell of a locker room guy. You lose a lot, trading him. Hes not a top 4 guy, which he was forced to play.

Immediate thoughts: Re-sign 36 to a 1-yr deal. I’d take 71 back on a vet minimum deal. Same with 90. I build around Wallstedt in goal. I trade 14 and 25. Love Ek as a player, but he isn’t on the ice at the most important times. Not sure what you get for 25 beyond cap space.
Jack Jablonski@Jabs_13

With the Minnesota Wild eliminated from the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, here’s a brief look at their offseason ahead: #mnwild 2026-27 Projected Cap Hit: $90,489,166 2026-27 NHL Cap Ceiling: $104,000,000 #mnwild 2026-27 Cap Space: $13,510,834 Pending UFA’s: RW Mats Zuccarello (38 yo, $4.125M) LW Marcus Johansson (35, $800k) RW Vladimir Tarasenko (34, $4.75M) C Michael McCarron (31, $900k) LW/RW Nick Foligno (38, $4.5M) LW Robby Fabbri (30, $775k) RHD Zach Bogosian (35, $1.25M) RHD Jeff Petry (38, $775k) Pending RFA’s: RW Bobby Orr Brink (24, $1.5M) LHD Daemon Hunt (23, $775k) LHD Carson Lambos (23, $863k) RHD David Spacek (23, 862k) G Samuel Hlavaj (24, $875k) TO BE ADDRESSED: 1. NEED Top line center — Center depth/decision making (and injuries were the downfall of the Wild’s playoff exit). - Do they have the package to go make a monumental trade? (Stramel, Yurov, Lambos, 27’ 1st, Gustavsson, etc 2. Quinn Hughes extension — Hughes flourished in Minny and his chemistry with Brock Faber was debatably the best D pair in the NHL. Lots to feel good about. 3. Resigning Questions — Priorities - Zuccy have another year in him? - McCarron was a great add, expect a lot of interest in him. How expensive will he be? - Johansson & Tarasenko were streaky but were really instrumental in depth scoring. Run it back? - Nick Foligno for the 4th line again? Retire? 4. Defensive Depth — Wild have multiple promising young D, but the back half of the D struggled mightily in playoffs. - Hunt, Lambos, Spacek all deserve a good look next year Contracts to ponder moving — Fillip Gustavsson (6x$6.8M) 🤷‍♂️ set to start brand new contract Jake Middleton (3x$4.35M)

And yeah, I’m dealing 5. I’m remaking 4-6 on the backend. And gonna have to find a way to acquire a legitimate top-line center. Easier said than done for sure. Lots of work to be done.

Yes. You have to REPORT if you gift over $19k but there is no tax to pay. It is basically for IRS to know when you die whether you’ve gifted above the estate tax limit ($15mm) and then potentially tax And nobody with competent advisor should ever pay federal estate tax in US
Cernovich@Cernovich

On the subject of taxes. "Gift tax" is one of the most misunderstood issues ever. Gift tax is only relevant if you die (married) with over $30 million in your estate. Otherwise, there is no "gift tax" when you give more than the annual amount.
