[🔥] ALPHA: @shelbyserves Cost Model Explained @jump_ shared the cost modeling for @shelbyserves a few days ago. If you don’t want to dive into all the math, here’s the TL;DR : 1. Storage Providers : → Yes, it’s profitable for SPs to store data. Even if nobody reads your stuff, the cost model lets you breakeven on storage fees. a. Earnings = Storage Fees + Read Fees b. Profit = Earnings - (Storage Cost + @Aptos Fees + Fiber Fees) More reads = more $$ in your pocket. 2. RPC Providers : They’re set to eat too. Cost modeling designed around ≥50% yield on investment. They get a cut from read fees and are super crucial to the system. Everything looks promising. I might run a node myself. Are you thinking of running one too?

@P3b7_ Ok, I missed this in the demo, but is this only for simple txs like transfers, what about decoding calldata for complex functions like swaps on Uniswap, etc?

🔥 Clear Signing on Safe is here — with Ledger Multisig. Tens of billions in assets are secured by Safe, the gold standard for onchain multisig. But nearly every team using it shares the same fatal flaw: blind signing. You’re asked to approve a treasury transaction, and all you see is a random hex string. You’re forced to trust your browser. That’s not security. That’s a gamble. And a lot of people are losing at this game. Today, we’re fixing it. Introducing Ledger Multisig, built on Safe, powered by Ledger’s world-class hardware security. It’s the missing link: the security and clarity layer every multisig should have. With Ledger Multisig, Clear Signing comes to every collective operation. No more guessing. Every transaction, amount, destination, contract function, is displayed in plain English on your Ledger’s Secure Screen. What you see is what you sign. Always. For existing Safe users, the transition is instant. No migrations. No setup pain. Just connect your Ledger, your Safes appear, now protected by Ledger security and Transaction Checks. It just works. We’re launching on EVMs today, securing Safe first, and expanding fast. Support for Solana Squads and native Bitcoin multisig is already in development. Our goal: a universal security layer for all on-chain collaboration. And the best part? Ledger Multisig is free. No extra cost. No complexity. Now there’s truly no excuse to blind-sign a treasury transaction. No excuse to “trust” an interface. No excuse for compromise. Secure your collective assets, today. multisig.ledger.com

@P3b7_ I'm commenting on the video, the safe UI also allows you to send tokens in a human readable way and also decodes the calldata for those transfers when it shows it in the tx queue, it may not be as pretty as your UI, but it is as functional in terms of calldata decoding

@Alfred_Dulaire @vlad_rdx @pcaversaccio @radixdlt my reply was dealing with: > This industry needs to wake tf up. which @vlad_rdx probably means that they should use Radix, though that won't happen if Radix can't attract institutional capital(no native USDC/USDT on Radix and very low bluechip TVL)

yesterday Ledger announced a new Safe multisig interface that supports clear signing. Overall a good move, I thought (interface diversity is good). Well, guess what, they charge a "Multisig Fee" on top of gas: $10 flat for normal txs, 0.05% for token transfers. You might say that's fair, that the product has value; well hear me out: no fucking no. You're not gonna make multisig users your fucking cash cow. Ain't gonna happen. You parade as Cypherpunk while trying to make Ledger Wallet (rebranded from Ledger Live) the single choke point for all crypto so you can squeeze everyone through it (guys, this won't happen). The multisig UI is not open-source, Ledger Nano S can't sign (so OGs like myself are basically censored), and there's zero info on the transaction service used for signature collection. Ledger once built for users and principles; now it builds business funnels and profit channels. Corporate gloss over Cypherpunk roots. Gimme a fucking break.

@vlad_rdx @pcaversaccio @Alfred_Dulaire @radixdlt Unfortunately Radix doesn't have institutional capital which is >>> retail capital and retail follows institutions this cycle imo, though if it ever able to reach a $100m TVL I see a snowball effect to $1B+

Not sure monetizing clear signing was @Ledger’s best move… But credit where it’s due: building Ledger Multisig on the @Safe multisig protocol was the right call. This prevents full vendor lock-in and allows users to freely migrate accounts between solutions provided within the Safe ecosystem like: @OnChainDen @protofire @SafeLabs_ @Cobo_Global @Rabby_io @gnosishq @MezzanineLabs @CasaHODL ... and more And there is even decentralized frontends on eternalsafe.eth.limo or app.safe.eth.limo. And finally, you can run the entire stack locally yourself as it's fully open source on github.com/safe-global. (@PatrickAlphaC is also working on something on that front 👀)

Bold Native Demo: 1-shot CEX USDC -> Radix XRD (uses @CaviarNine pool) Demonstrates the ability to single-step onboard any user from a CEX to a native token without actually being listed. This is impossible with normal bridges as you run into the gas problem: you need gas in order to get gas. Bold Native is the "Plaid of Web3", the fastest way to onboard users/liquidity to any Dapp/Layer1. Follow our progress here: discord.gg/hsYp8c7EKJ

@a_vaunt agreed when compared to other L1s generally, though it's about the same as freeze authorization on Aptos Fungible Assets.

Whether you agree with it or not, Radix has a lot simpler and more elegant solution for situations where you need to freeze accounts. Resources on Radix can be instantiated with both freeze and/or recall behaviours. No need to ask validators to collude and coordinate to freeze accounts. It's so simple ShardSpace has built a token manager to allow resource owners to perform either function.

@danielvf An issue you would never run into on Move, mostly because you wouldn't have to bother with these low level optimizations and could just use the object standard.

1/ I found an AMM bug in screenshot in my X feed. ZAMM is a hyper gas-optimized AMM. A malicious user can create a new AMM/Coin pair multiple times, allowing them to stash away hidden LP tokens to later rug the pool. Here’s how the bug works:

@0xeman_raz @axelar @flipsidecrypto Sure, the vote txs are important, just as they are important to Solana, but they don't reflect actual usage of the blockchain, the txs that do would be ITS or GMP txs which should be compared to LayerZero's tx volume.

I strongly disagree with your view, as it underestimates the importance of Axelar’s transaction activity. The transactions you dismiss as insignificant are a vital part of the network’s operations, enabling Axelar to connect 75 distinct blockchains—a level of interoperability unmatched by LayerZero, Wormhole, or any other protocol. Check docs.axelar.dev for a detailed view.
