Happy women’s day to all you beautiful, strong and incredible women💕✨ today we honour the powerful and brave women that marched to the union buildings in 1956 to protest the unjust pass laws of apartheid! We honour and celebrate all the achievements of women across time❤️

Meeting the menstrual hygiene needs of all adolescent girls is a fundamental issue of human rights, dignity and public health. A lack of menstrual supplies and proper sanitary facilities leads to girls missing school. Menstruation SHOULD NOT be a barrier to education.

Did you know that period blood clots are #bloodynormal? Period blood clots are clumps of blood mixed with tissue from the uterine lining. They form when blood and tissue cells sit and pool inside the uterus or vagina before exiting the body #normaliseperiods #menstrualcycle

A little bit of kindness goes a long way💖“I was on my way to the shopping centre + I got my first #period. I was lucky to be approached by a kind lady who offered me a pad. She played a great role in informing me about the menstrual cycle”- Asanda Mbuku, Financial Advisor

A menstruator goes through approx. 11k disposable pads +/or tampons in their lifetime😵 Single use period products + their packaging generate more than 200k tonnes of waste per year. Here are some sustainable options: menstrual cup, reusable pads, period underwear #BloodyNormal
