There is a widespread perception among some Western think tanks that the GCC is less aware, less politically mature, and less grounded in reality. This perception is so entrenched that it often turns into AWE sense, when GCC states demonstrate resilience and defend their sovereignty through their own national capabilities. In reality, GCC countries are acutely aware, arguably more so than many external observers, that living between “the fuel and the match” is not a condition to be taken for granted. It is precisely this awareness that has driven decades of strategic investment: trillions allocated to education, logistics, and international partnerships, all aimed at preparing for the day after. Today, the GCC’s position is far more stable than often portrayed and, in some respects, more cohesive than that of parts of Europe, which can, under pressure, appear strategically constrained. Yes, the region is under fire. But patience, combined with calculated resilience, will absorb the shock, correct the course, and ultimately shift the balance leaving those responsible to confront the long-term consequences of their actions. Time will also reveal how shallow some analyses truly are arguments driven more by sentiment than by rigorous, objective reasoning. The events of 2003 in Iraq already exposed how certain prominent academic voices fell short, proving that titles alone do not guarantee depth or credibility.

@theGeekBrocade What do you expect from people who believe that Dubai is a country and Abu Dhabi is a city in the KSA. To many we are nothing, they just know the names of random Arab countries that they associate with negative things. In short: to them, we don’t really exist.

It's funny how some western peopleare laughing about the war for a few seconds and then move on to other topics on a podcast living peacefully while their govts wage war. Must be nice. I would have preferred them not bringing up the topic instead of laughing.

I hope this is true, because it's insane that the file explorer takes time to load when you open it unlike previous versions of windows. 🫩 Why does it take a few seconds longer? Laughable.
