To be clear I would be just as unmoved if a mainstream Democrat-aligned manipulator like Bill Maher or Joe Scarborough was killed, and I would be just as disdainful of their memory. They are exactly the same to me.
I had no strong feelings about Charlie Kirk especially; to me he was just one of the empire's countless flying monkeys, and his role will be easily filled by the next flying monkey in line. My disdain toward him was of the ordinary blanket variety that I hold toward all the lackeys of the most tyrannical and murderous power structure on our planet, regardless of their political affiliation.
All mainstream Republican pundits, politicians and political operatives are evil pieces of shit. All mainstream Democratic pundits, politicians and political operatives are evil pieces of shit. You cannot become a high-level pundit, politician or political operative in either mainstream party without being an evil piece of shit. It's part of the job description, because the job requires you to make excuses for the abuses of a globe-spanning empire which is fueled by human blood.
The Republicans are not your friend. The Democrats are not your friend. If you have any special attachment to any mainstream American pundit, politician or political operative, then you have a special attachment to an evil piece of shit. That includes Charlie Kirk, and it includes all major Republican pundits and politicians, and it includes all major Democrat pundits and politicians.
There are no exceptions. That's just the way the empire is structured.

Myself and @markgoodw_in and a few others tried to warn people in January 2024 that a lot of the policies hated by covid-era "dissidents" were being re-packaged and resold by the "right" instead of the "left" to minimize resistance to them and make them more palatable.
Now, following the passage of the GENIUS act, the push for digital ID returns. The excuse has now shifted from the vaccine/vaccine passports, to paving the way for dollar stablecoins. Where is the "resistance" on this now? Too many of them will continue to call me "blackpilled" for not clapping like a seal while Trump's administration pushes surveillance, programmable money and digital IDs –– stuff they were ostensibly against before the last election.
If you think this administration cares what the public thinks, leave a comment saying a big fat NO to digital ID.

The Treasury is contemplating the implementation of digital identities in DeFi. This would mean that all software developers building non-custodial services could be required to implement smart contracts that facilitate identity checks before executing a transaction. This would not just mean that developing open-source non-custodial services would become prohibitively expensive, or that users could be excluded from non-custodial services for failing compliance checks. It would effectively turn a permissionless system into a permissioned one, in which the Government gains the ability to watch, deny, or approve everything you do. But here’s a fun fact: the Treasury is currently seeking comments on this plan, and it is legally required to consider *all comments* that it receives. The more comments it receives, the longer such implementation would take. If you care about your privacy, you know what to do. Link to issue comments in the article quoted. Sadly, in the US, I can’t see people participating in a general strike on behalf of others. I think if things get bad enough, they might consider it, but they have to be personally hurting. And that’s everything in a nutshell that’s wrong with America. No empathy. That’s the real Disney legacy. We live in a nation that believes in fairytales and closes their eyes to the suffering of others. Study show when you give kids sad stories to read they develop empathy. When you give them only happy stories to watch they don’t.

I have never been less open to people with different opinions than I am with Gaza. I am simply correct, and if you disagree with me you are wrong and I hate you.
I have alienated various readers and online factions over the years with the things I have written, usually unintentionally; normally I don't like to alienate people who resonate with my work. Gaza was the first time I've been happy to lose anyone who disagreed with me. It was like, You're leaving? Good. Get the fuck out. I'm going to keep saying what I'm saying and if you don't like it then I don't like you. If you don't leave then I'll kick you out myself.
I like to stay open to different perspectives, and I like to have people with different perspectives stay open to me. But Gaza is such an easy and obvious moral question that I stand nothing to gain from any contact with anybody who answers that question incorrectly. I've never been so fast and so confident in making enemies than I have over this issue.
