re: $LION
one primary factor in a memecoin’s potential lies in how long the meme itself can entertain participants before it gets “old”
re: “the lion” — the meme spawned in february, topped out there at the time, price-wise, but the meme itself maintained usage & prominence over the course of the year, worldwide (not just inside of bubbles)
during the oct. 10 crash, the meme proved to be a source of joy & solace for the entire crypto community, despite maximum market-fear — this began to spark price-action
prominence among “normies” is one thing, but prominence inside “CT” is what matters most!
during conditions of such fear, the risk-averse tap out, and those who remain optimistic and continue to participate in the market at that time are often most willing to take risk, and make conviction bets; diamond-hands — which is a major factor in why we’ve seen such strength in the lion despite volatility
to me, this proves that the holders recognize the above points; meme longevity, prominence, relatability, and very strong memetic application (how ‘usable’ and diverse the meme is in application; “the lion does not concern himself with ____,” which can be used to reference a wide variety of topics both online and IRL, perpetually)
in addition to that, we have begun to see a spike in virality, a “round two” — that does not happen with most memes; corporations still posting the meme after nearly a year is another point to prove its longevity
“the lion” is not based on a zoo animal, or a tiktok pet — the lion represents a mindset of strength and individuality, something that anyone can relate to, and find joy in
i believe $LION is a special token — an energy birthed out of circumstance; a moment in which the stars align and all of the right holders pile into the right coin, at the right time
this particular lion (me) is thinking much further, and much bigger, and i do believe many other lions are feeling the same
be the lion, or be sidelioned
