Just finished draft 4 (final) of Dan Shamble, SLEEP WITH THE FISHES, and sent it off to the proofing team. Everything is on track to deliver printed copies to @Kickstarter backers in June. If you missed the campaign, you'll have to wait until October!

@AshanBhatoa I don't know of any similar projects that were started but never got through. There were a lot of illustrated "Essential Guides" but nothing like this one.

@TheKJA @TheKJA Did The Illustrated Star Wars Universe catalyse any subsequent projects akin to this which did not see the light of day or were not greenlit by Lucasfilm Licensing? It is a particularly unique book, and many just dismiss it a some pictoral reference book.

@paolini It took more than six years and an insane number of drafts of the pilot script before Dune: Prophecy finally aired. Seemed like it would never get done, but now at last season 2 is almost done.

The amount of behind-the-scenes work that goes into a TV show is INSANE. So many hours burned, so much effort and money ... it's really something to watch and be part of.

@DavidJohnButler "couldn't find a story worth telling" is bullshit. Maybe Disney shouldn't have just fired 1000 of their employees including many of the creatives.

The only thing this can mean is "we don't want to tell a story about a married couple." Like, say, The Incredibles, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, True Lies, the Shrek sequels, etc.
