@Control4Daze I don't know, i find masticore underperforming without the card advantage and Shade can , in late game, performing well. Just my opinion. 😁

@theLastReda I think shade and ravenous rats occupy the same slot in this deck. I prefer rats over shade.

The Mono-B 'Moneyball' saga continues. 4 straight 4-1s 😡 Likely punted my 5-0 against Oath with a poor mull decision in g3, followed by worse play mistake. Lesson(s) learned. I've found this deck to be most consistent and enjoyable out of everything I've tested so far.

Went Yawg in Modern main event at Destination Qualifier in EW Lucca. Was able to qualify with a 3rd place for RC Prague , going 8-1. Thanks again to @Control4Daze for the SB guide. I really raccomend his Patreon for updates and discussion about the future for this archetype.

Curious how many people are playing Pre-Modern. I've noticed quite a few cards for the format spiking in price lately. Is it growing? How has your experience been?

Timeless is such a wild format at the moment. Every other match is some sort of Strip Mine mirror and I absolutely love it.

Hello! I've updated the SB guide to reflect the current list I'm most happy with. I made some pretty big changes, but these have felt the best to me overall so far. Spider is actually good! Will continue to update this as the RC approaches 🕺(link below)

@MeatMTG I really appreaciate your answer, i totally agree but i m concerned about the 8 tutors and the 4th capitan G.Rist, i feel they too heavy, am i wrong. After that i m gonna probably use your list and ur SB, maybe little little few changes. 😁

@theLastReda Rumble is ultimately a high variance card. I really didn't like keeping hands on the strength of rumble and then missing; I felt like I'd just lose because of that. Rumble also gets worse in SB games and you take them out a lot.

@Control4Daze Even that format has his broken things, but not like modern or Legacy, i like the dead guy Ale and i use to play It, i love even mono B storm, not a tier 1 but so fun to play

I often find myself longing for Magic "the way it used to be". Because of this, the Pre-Modern format looks fun an interesting - does anyone have any insight as to what the 'best' decks in the format are? A tier list, if you may?

@Control4Daze I think the fact that the One ring Is in 45% of the deck in the top8s Is more concerning, i Remember when was Bolt the most playble card, was 1 year ago, not 20.

In 9 matches of Modern today, I played against Boros/Mardu Energy 8 times. Is this deck a problem? Should something get banned from it in December???

@Control4Daze You absolutely right.

Every relevant card snowballs out of control almost immediately. This has a detrimental effect on the quality of gameplay and how ‘fun’ the game is. It’s disappointing the game has moved in this direction.

This has been the case for a while, but ESPECIALLY after the release of MH3: The games (and decks) are less about the players and decisions they make, and more about the cards themselves. Resolve more busted mythics? Congrats, you win! Tell me I’m wrong…
