Þessi gata var einu sinni bílagata. Lélegir borgarfulltrúar mótmæltu því að banna þar bíla með nkl sömu rökum og núna eru notuð gegn Borgarlínu, göngugötu á Laugavegi, þéttingu byggðar eða hverju því öðru sem gott er og fallegt í þessari borg. Það er kosið um þetta í vor.

@sottolfur @WillumThor Sammála. Ég er full bólusettur, ætla í örvun þegar ég get (fékk covid nýlega) og vill að allir geri slíkt hið sama. Áður en bólusetningar komu var ég mjög hlyntur höftum. Fyrst Omicron er ekki jafn hættulegur, þó svo hann smiti meira, sé ég ekki mikinn tilgang í höftum

@theNicelander @WillumThor Vörn gegn veikindum skiptir langmestu máli og ég er alveg sammála að bóluefnin hafa skilað miklum árangri hvað það varðar sbr. grafið hér frá LSH. Ég er sjálfur bólusettur og ekki á móti covid bóluefnunum. En tilgangur sóttkvíar á landamærum kemur því ekki við.

Nú er búið að leggja niður sóttkví í landinu. Engu að síður ákvað @WillumThor að óbólusettir ferðamenn skuli enn sæta sóttkví við komuna til landsins. 🤦‍♂️ Í dag ertu 15% líklegri til að greinast smitaður ef þú ert fullbólusettur en óbólusettur. 🤡 Hvernig eru þetta "vísindi"?

@sottolfur @WillumThor Skiptir vörn gegn smiti samt máli? Aðal pælingin með bólusetningu er vörn gegn dauða eða lenda uppi á spítala. Bólusetningar hjálpa við það, 💯% Ég bý í 🇬🇧 Hér eru óbólusettir um 25% af samfélaginu, en valda 90% af veseni á sjúkrahúsum

@theNicelander @WillumThor Ég deili ekki um það, en það er ekki krafist örvunarskammts á landamærunum. Við skulum þó hafa í huga að hópanir eru ekki samsettir eins, og að sama skapi að nýörvaðir telji sem fullbólusettir í 14 daga. Það þarf betri gögn, en óumdeilt að vörn gegn smiti er lítil ef einhver.
