AHS ASB Senior class presented the Battle of the Bands this past Friday! Here are some behind the scenes looks at the prep for the show. The PAECs support everyone school produced show with logistical, technical and educational support for all students involved in the events!

Wow! Not only have over 200 students between AHS and CHS gone to see VAPA shows for free, those tickets still benefitted the programs by being paid for by the Beacon For The Arts Fund! Follow us for information on how LVUSD makes the arts accesible to students and the community!

Tonight AHS Drama Club presents their Cabaret event at 7pm in the Black Box at APAEC! This is a student produced event and if you look closely, you may spy the student stagecrew working from on high to make things look and sound good for the performers.#ahstheater #lvusd

Standby lineset...Students at the PAECs train to use all of the theatrical equipment including all 32 line sets at both PAECs. @CalabasasHS and @AgouraHS Production Enginnering and Design students run it all safely thanks to the training and supervision of the PAEC instructors.

It's chaos...until it isnt!! Transitions can make or break a show so rehearsing them until they are as close to perfect as possible is key. Stage manager Peter is running scene changes to make sure that the transitions are safe, smooth and effective during rehearsal at CPAEC.

It's all about communication! Student stage manager, Peter, briefs the stage crew on proper com etiquette before beginning a run through of the @chstheater production of Harvey. Harvey is student built and run by student who learn their craft at the PAECs!

@AgouraHS own stage crew painting the set for #CuriousIncidentOfTheDogInTheNighttime. It's a big job but these students are up to the task! Load in for the show is this weekend and the production is in a great shape thanks to amazing student participation.

The #CHSBroadcastAcademy filmed their first show at #CPAEC yesterday. Supported by Academy instructors and PAEC staff their first broadcast was a success! The students had a ton of fun and were proud of their work. @LVUSD @RyanLVUSD
