Majda is only two and a half years old, yet her small body has already endured too much. After facing prolonged food shortages and displacement, she was diagnosed with malnutrition, putting her growth and health at serious risk. Today, through PCRF and our partners at the Middle East Council of Churches, Majda is receiving the nutritional support she needs to regain her strength and health. And for every Majda, there are thousands more still waiting. Our work continues. 💙

Tonight might be Laylat al-Qadr, a night when even the simplest act of generosity can carry immeasurable reward. 🌙 In Jenin, West Bank, 12-year-old Nasser and many other children were forced to stop their schooling and live under difficult conditions. “Palestinian children are ours.” – Dr. Mohammad El-Sherbiny, Pediatric Surgeon About a month ago, PCRF deployed a voluntary pediatric mission to Lebanon led by Egyptian doctors Dr. Mohammad El-Sherbiny, pediatric surgeon, Dr. Medhat Mikhail Messeha Gerges, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Noha Tharwat Eltantawi, pediatric neurologist. Working alongside Lebanese staff at Safad Hospital, the team cared for children from Al-Baddawi Camp and performed critical surgeries for nine children who needed timely treatment. Today, as many children and families in Lebanon face renewed uncertainty and displacement, acts of compassion like this continue to bring hope to children and their families.
