If MJ is the GOAT, how come Isiah Thomas beating him 3 years in a row, twice for back to back chips… how come that’s not the greatest championship run?

Memphis, from someone who lives there, and covers the Grizzlies, and understands the nuances of the discourse about the city, and Nashville, and LeBron, and what we should all consider before judging a city & a history most of us don't know. Take it away, @SharonShyBrown:

His comments weren’t just about a hotel. They reflected a deeper reality about how Memphis is perceived, positioned, and too often overlooked. memphisflyer.com/lebron-said-it…

@SwaggyCTV Everyone always comparing Jordan and LeBron. When it’s always been Jordan and Kobe. I was able to watch both play in their primes, you just had to be there. They were magical.

It’s so clear Jay-Z wants to be positioned as a Miles Davis, Basquiat-like Black genius figure but… 😬 The catalogue & legacy just don’t rise to that level if we’re honest His legacy is more about being a businessman than an artist & his ability to earn money beyond rapping As far as cultural impact, there’s just not the same longevity there & that’s reflected in the discussion happening now Outside of this orchestrated press tour, who was thinking of it being 30 years since Reasonable Doubt or how it relates to 2026? Who felt like it’s been a long time since we’ve seen or heard from Jay-Z? That’s why it’s out of sync with the times & the vibes right now

As a kid who was a die hard Trail Blazers fan, and lived through this era, I feel like the fans didn’t actually turn on this team as a whole? We liked them. I think the media turned on them and that’s the perception that followed. Can’t WAIT for this.

UNTOLD: JAIL BLAZERS premieres April 14. In the early 2000s, the Portland Trail Blazers were stacked with talent—and surrounded by controversy. Through firsthand stories from Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire, and Bonzi Wells, this is an unfiltered look at a team caught between brilliance and notoriety—and the media storm that followed.

It’s unacceptable that Oregonians are under this much financial pressure. That’s why, as Governor, I will immediately work to lower the personal income tax on the first $100,000 earned to give Oregonians the relief they deserve.

Oregon ranks as the fifth least affordable state in the nation when comparing incomes to the cost of essentials such as housing, groceries, insurance and child care, a report based on federal & state data found. katu.com/news/local/ore…

@NacksonD I was not referring to you. Text to talk got me. Raheem is definitely a bitch though. At the end of the day, he’s badmouth in a company that he’s proud to represent in his resumes in bios. That’s something a bitter bitch would do.

@theReal_Cee_Jay Why are you resorting to insults?? We are having a conversation although we may not agree. And Amazon being a bad company is an opinion. Just like some people would say ROC nation is a great company. Enjoy your day.

You’re not blocked me. What a bitch. Anyways. Amazon is not a bad company. That’s the dumb shit the woke want you to believe. He needs his rocnation on his resume cause it opens doors. That’s why he keeps it.
Charming Jerk 🇳🇬@NacksonD

@theReal_Cee_Jay @iamrahstradamus Like I said, you’re expected to put every company you worked for on your resume unless if it’s a short stint.. second, many consider Amazon to be a terrible company and they still put it on their resume? Why? Because they worked there.

I worked at Roc Nation......People talk about this company like they're the illuminati & they're in control of the world. This is a ghetto ass company that barely wanted to pay photographers to take pictures at the 40/40 club so we could have pictures for social media. It's company that is carried by the fact that Jay-Z is arguably the GOAT & people are so thirsty to be in entertainment that they're willing to get paid peanuts and get treated like crap to be in the industry. My first day of the job, my boss shows up 2.5 hours late, hands me a laptop with food all over it, gives me some handy wipes and says clean the shit off. My second day of the job I had a meeting with Power 105 because they wanted the 40/40 club to buy radio ads. My boss disappears and I'm in the meeting with Power 105 with no instructions or authority to do anything. There's countless other goofy things that happen there everyday.
Raheem Palmer@iamrahstradamus

Here’s where I step in. I’m not one of these I hate capitalist or rich people type guys because I’m a hustler too. Make your money & I will too however, your company Roc nation literally couldn’t survive without unpaid interns who did the exact same work as paid employees. Many of the unpaid interns were from urban communities and it was tough on them to work for free and yet they got nothing but the ability to put Roc Nation on their resume, many didn’t even get full time jobs at Roc Nation or the music industry after their internships because we all know nepotism and being connected matters more than anything in the music industry. The music industry as a whole takes advantage of people & people within the music industry use their talent, clout and the fact that everyone else wants to work in entertainment to not pay people their worth.
