We’re terribly sad to report that Ultra Ultra has ceased to exist. We are grateful to have had the chance to crystallize something truly from the heart. ECHO will remain available on stores.

Back in 2019 I played about 4 hours of @theUltraUltra's Echo and I've thought about it almost every week since, even having a nightmare about it recently. This weekend I finally returned to it, and I'm even more beguiled; definitely a case study for the PhD!

One game that isn't often mentioned when discussing Manifold Garden's influences is ECHO by @theUltraUltra: store.steampowered.com/app/551770/ECH… We drew a ton of inspiration from the visuals in that game - the black ooze, baroque architecture in later areas, the doors, and the lighting:
