In a private situation, shooting the shit with friends, sure, go off. But with people you hardly know who were simply trying to chat about something in a positive light? Idk man. I have no idea what to say when someone just goes "as for me though, I hate it." ... Congrats?

Don't get me wrong, I too enjoy a bit of murder in my media and I understand the necessity for violence in some stories and our natural pull to that. But the fact that sex is somehow immoral and dirty while gunning down a rando in an action movie is fine? That's real weird.

I fucking love smut. I love erotica. What an incredible way to express the many variations of sexuality. The longer I live the more I realize how weird it is that sexual desire is demonized more than violence and murder.
