This is… quite unfortunate. With that said, if Alabama does take the “all in” approach for 2027, they’d probably want a guy they know could help them in 2027 (if they do take a bigger swing). That would suggest the transfer portal. Still, pass rush is an area I’ll be keeping an eye on post-2026 with Yhonzae Pierre expected to move on to the NFL and several strong complementary pieces (Thompkins, Zulu, etc.) expecting to run out of eligibility.
