@OgbeniDemola Mis-characterization of history is abhorrent. While Christian missionaries condoned slave trade & genocide of a people- the inquisitions, they weren’t the FIRST as alluded. Slavery dates back to ancient Egypt. It was an already established market in parts of Africa.

The people who started the slave trade were Christians, in fact, the Catholic Church actively supported the enslavement and genocide of indigenous people. Christianity did not bring any civilization into Africa.

No. It’s saying, in a Christian marriage, a wife’s will ought to align with the will of her husband in the same way the church’s will ought to align with the will of Christ. She has free agency to operate under the general direction of her husband. But she is not free to oppose his will *unless* his will opposes Christ. Then, she must obey Christ and not her husband.

In a Christian marriage, a wife should vote according to her husband’s direction. He is the head and they are one. Unity extends to politics. This is not controversial.

There are many different descendants of invaders and immigrants who now live in Egypt today,. Greeks, Italians, Arabs, Europeans, Israelis, and Turkish. The only one's who still speak the ancient Coptic, Pharaonic language of the ancient Egyptians are the black people of that country.

Their sample sizes are very niche and become fallible when looking at wider age groups, length of relationships, previous partners etc. I can direct you to more accurate studies backing my argument if u like.

Women being truly Independent is still relatively a new thing socially. Your grandparents can tell you that. And a lot of men haven’t accepted that reality yet.
