Was there a time in your life when you had to prove a theorem: "There is no positive rational number whose square is 2." It is something the adhvaryu-s of yore had an intuitive feel for.

I have many Maharashtrian friends who are Vegetarians and they are so chill But then there are 'Pure Vegetarians' from certain communities, they just don't understand the Concept Of Minding Your Own Business

I get the importance of having a Hindu org provide midday meals, but are there none which aren't obsessed with "sattvik food"? Surely Śāktas are less squeamish about this, why are there no Śākta orgs at the same scale as the Vaiṣṇava ones?

@Joecricket_ ISCKON at least allows governments to supplement their meals with eggs. It's Jains and Gujjus who insist the government shouldn't do so.

@TakeshiKovacs0 Should be eaten in moderation as it's a red meat, and have to be wary of parasites in India given Indian quality control. It's very tasty though.

Eggs in mid-day meals are simply a no-brainer. There's no better source of protein.

@lazy__mongoose I don't like resolutions these sorts of resolutions. Whether it's anti-semitism or Hinduphobia, they are robustly covered under existing laws and shouldn't be given special extra carveouts.

Hinduphobia exists in 🇺🇸 (as is obvious now & as your ilk tried to deny until very recently) & condemning it doesn't empower the state to target any particular community. Caste discrimination doesn't exist in 🇺🇸 & banning it empowers the state to target Hindus. Hope that helps!
Sturgeon's Law@Sturgeons_Law

Right-wing Hindutva lobby orgs like the Hindu American Foundation condemn efforts to add language about caste to US antidiscrimination law, since caste discrimination is already illegal here, but support changing antidiscrimination law to add language about "Hinduphobia" to them.

Also neolithic Anatolians initially spoke Hurro-Urartian and likewise the cultures in between Anatolia and India spoke Kartvelian, Sumerian, Elamite, etc. We can clearly see in the literary record that Hittite and Old Persian arrived in the respective regions long after the spread of neolithic farming.

@MRavinderReddi @b0red_historian Regardless of the origin of proto Indo Europeans, I think the spread of Indo Iranian languages being from Anatolia through farmers etc is extremely unlikely. There is an undeniable steppe imprint in our culture which is very evident in tge Vedas and other scriptures.

What really frustrates me and makes me hate the OITists/AMT sceptics is that the narrative on Indian history spread by both the western leftists and wignats is so stupid and incoherent that Hindus could easily produce far superior scholarship based on all the latest evidence and tell our history credibly from our own perspective. Yet all that OITists/AMT skeptics do is to sabotage this by peddling easily refuted sloppy Oakist type nonsense, conspiratorial copes and living in denial. They out-retard the retarded Western Leftists and wignats and make these enemies of ours look more credible than us and hand them easy wins.

Caste is old -- really old. It was emphatically not the creation of the English colonists, but something that emerged thousands of years ago. The high castes, who oppressed and exploited the low castes, are not originally from India -- they came down from the steppes.
