MegaThread 1 of 2 01) Hello, I'm PJ Taylor. I created the art and concept for The Fims. I'm reaching out to inform this community that FimWest LLC is in the process of being dissolved. However, The Fims project will continue, albeit without Tinashe Nyatanga. Let me explain

32) The Fims project is definitely on life support and I can't guarantee that it will ever fully recover. I can promise that I will try to keep the embers burning, so that, hopefully, one day The Fims can rise from these ashes.

31) I have removed Mr. Nyatanga's access to official project spaces on Discord and Twitter, as well as access to his company email account, meaning any future messages will be coming from someone other than him.

30) I seriously doubt that I would be allowed to post this message to his private group (as Mr. Nyatanga and/or his mods must approve new posts), so I'm posting here instead.

29) the path forward for The Fims project is currently very fuzzy, but I am committed to trying to salvage something out of this awful mess. One of Mr. Nyatanga's responsibilities to the project was to manage online spaces, such as Discord, Twitter and his private Facebook group

28) However, since the start of 2023, I have spent most of my time just trying to get him to respond to my calls and messages, and trying to make sense of his excuses. Now, in light of Mr. Nyatanga's alleged behavior outside of FimWest and his subsequent removal from the project,

27) to even making music for the project, while Mr. Nyatanga handled community-building and business relationships (which were supposed to be his strong-suits), and chipping in on meetings, testing, and strategy.

26) developing the vision for the demo experience and subsequent metaverse, producing a ton of sketches for the production of VR assets, writing future additions to the project lore, planning, making pitch decks, countless hours of product testing,

24) Now, I am in contact with our VR partners to see if there is any path forward for The Fim Adventure Park demo experience at all, let alone any plans for a Fim-branded metaverse. Although I am in the process of severing all financial and business ties with Mr. Nyatanga,

23) that kept getting delayed for a myriad of reasons that I do not fully understand. I kept pushing for this reveal to happen, knowing full well that the more time that it took, the less excitement there would be for the reveal from this community or potential business partners

14) I still want to hold out hope that these allegations aren't true, but given the discrepancies between what he told me and the text screenshots that I have viewed of his conversation with the 'client', as well as his unwillingness to renew contact...

13) Prior to being informed of these allegations, I never would have guessed that Mr. Nyatanga was capable of such behavior. Perhaps it's a personality fault of mine that I want to believe the best in people.
