And I honestly feel so stupid that it took me so long to realize Id rather close my eyes than confront the truth that sometimes people are just not there. And won’t ever be. Rants over.

I’ve taken the conscious decision to stop blinding myself and idealizing people. From now on, if someone’s actions don’t align with what I actually see or hold dear to my heart, it’s game over. Not gonna become a mean gay, but I’m not giving any single spark of my energy anymore

@GWLC1 Maybe but idk. I’m wary of making those assumptions. If it is, it’s mostly the obtuse POV on the world produced by ignorance and a lack of empathy and understanding for other cultures. It’s not necessarily malice, but it is entitlement. And it gets annoying after a while.
