On 18 November 2025, the LKIIRSS welcomed Ms. Zunaira Latif, Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka. She was received by Dr. Nishara Mendis, Executive Director of LKIIRSS, together with members of the Institute’s research team.

On 17 November, the LKIIRSS welcomed representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka for an academic discussion. The Embassy delegation included Ms. Shailaja Kim, Political Unit Chief, Mr. Patrick Collins, Political Officer, and Ms. Charitha Fernando, Political Specialist.
