Malls were a product of their time. If you wanted to shop and have some variety - mall. If you wanted to hang out/go to a movie as a teen - mall. Parents would take kids to the mall as an outing for something to do.
Ecommerce, social media, streaming etc. ended that. 1/2

Then questioned the FDA commissioner directly for not moving fast enough
The FDA commissioner who said no resigned days later and so did RFK Jr.'s chief spokesperson, citing the vape policy as the reason
Then the ban was lifted within a week
The White House says it had nothing to do with the $5,000,000

So Mike Johnson and many republicans are against banning Members of Congress from trading stocks because inflation makes their salary less valuable.
Here’s an idea: if $174k a year isn’t enough for you, then resign and let someone who is willing to work the job do it.
There are plenty of young people who would be willing to give up stock trading for that salary. And they would actually get stuff done.
And if $174k isn’t enough for people to take care of their family, then how the hell is minimum wage?
