@KainYusanagi @marunominkys but only if they know about the ferry route in the first place......... and the thing that made it as bad as it was, in truth, was how often you had to make the trip which REALLY makes the ferry route a lot less painful, and i wish i knew about it back then

@theaDaGreata @marunominkys I did it manually, without using warps of any sort; only allowed to use scene transitions (so Limsa > Vesper Bay was acceptable, but I had to get to Limsa by Airship from another city first). It really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

People like to rag on XIV's early game questing being a chore but my eye have been opened to Mission 4-1, surely would break you if the cheese arc in XIV was almost too much for you

@Deliesque @marunominkys no!!! we had to WALK there from the aetheryte in Horizon!! and there's a very specific lore reason for it, too - because Lolorito didn't like that the Scions refused his funding bc then he'd have some control over them, so there's no aetheryte in Vesper Bay because of it

@Toki_from_Ger there's a few people at my workplace that i recognize in very specific ways: - one of them has a Benedict Cumberbatch face - one has a very specific beard - one has heavy metal makeup - one has a very specific bit of gray hair in her bangs and stuff like that

@Toki_from_Ger i genuinely cannot recognize them. i've stared at coworkers for a minute straight because they dyed their hair, and i knew i SHOULD know who this person is (silhouette is familiar), but because there's a Key Point that's no longer the same, i have absolutely no idea who they are

@Toki_from_Ger i can only recognize one (1) real person by their face, and that's my best friend that i've known since first grade. i can't even recognize my mother by her face if someone gets a drastic haircut, or dyes their hair, or gets rid of an accessory they always wear? (cont.)
