@Gigi200221 Yep, and this is why no one was exactly overjoyed when McMahon got here. The guy was struggling in Colorado when we got him last year, and that’s very hard to do with how Coors Field inflates these players’ numbers nowadays.
@theaidenball The waste of not looking for bullpen help, more starting pitching help (weathers isn’t that good), no help for a 3 baseman is really affecting them at the start of the season and it’s not going to be good as the season continues
@Gigi200221 Yep and we all know George is rolling in his grave rn with the way his son keeps running this organization into the ground. I may only be 21 but even Ik what the bosses standards were and it definitely wasn’t this shit.
@theaidenball That’s exactly true. They aren’t making deals with teams for decent players. Let’s face it, the dodgers r the best rn because they made deals with players who are actually good. Yankees always settle for poor players and it’s pathetic
@Gigi200221 Completely agree with you. And a big part of the problem is 1. Boone is still the manager and 2. Cashman just keeps going dumpster diving every year in the offseason and at the deadline for guys way out of their prime and thinks they’ll turn into their former selves again.
Mike Trout has homered in five straight games at Yankee Stadium dating back to last season. He joins Aaron Judge (5 in Aug. 2024) as the only players to do so since the place opened in 2009.
@TalkinYanks A very bad outing for Frieds standards but that’s baseball and was bound to happen some point for him. I guarantee he’ll rebound for his next outing and throw a shut out
Max Fried gets tagged with five earned runs in his worst start of the season. He had pitched into the seventh inning or later in each of his first four starts before today
@TalkinYanks In usual fashion, whenever a player leaves the Yanks, they come back with a vengeance and beat the shit out of them. Make it make sense lol
