@Emperor_Derp Im aware we are talking about scoring but his scoring doesn’t drop like you say it does, and scoring drops for just about everyone who’s players around them cant score or create for themselves, first person to change that was maxey/harden

@theanswer76_ We’re talking about scoring. Notice how he has by far the best defensive EPM there and is. And I know he was injured, but how you play is how you play. I don’t think it’s at all unreasonable to say that 10 guys have peaked higher as scorers than Embiid.

How the NBA has allowed a star player to simply avoid playing in one city for 7 years is actually mind boggling. I can't think of another star player who's done that.

Every single year since like 2018 they made excuses for him. Play better, get in shape, play through injuries, take basketball more seriously, play more than 55 games
He did all of this. They started making rules to disqualify him from them. Don’t tell me he isnt the most hated

Embiid didnt win ALL-NBA one of his most dominant seasons because the voters were too ignorant to realize they couldve voted the players out of position and had both Jokic/Embiid there
Then they made a rule saying he had to play 65 games to qualify, and now it’s hurting others

i have not spoken on the 65 game rule because i’m ultimately not super passionate about it, but this cade situation is the first thing that’s really pushed me over the edge. he’s had an all-NBA season and absolutely shouldn’t be penalized for a collapsed lung with 14 games left.

Cade Cunningham is less than 5 games from being eligible for nba awards .. this is why the rule is so dumb . Cade carried the pistons all year and should be on first team all nba

@LegendOfWinning I love the rule. Guys have to PLAY and be available to win things. Showing up and participating is something everyone, in every job has to do. You’re not getting the big promotion at your job if you only show up 75% of the time

@Emperor_Derp Playoff dropping and hes averaged more points per minute in two separate playoff series and has by far been one of the most impactful players in the playoffs for any team, while playing most of these series injured

@theanswer76_ When you consider the playoff dropping and the lack of a real multi year peak I think that is a 100% reasonable take. Larry Bird at 10, Jokic at 3, and no Steph or KD were far more egregious takes than no Embiid.
