@theapache64 which aspect do you want to be better? all are trade-offs. if you want easy of starting then gradle is king. if you want anything related to performance - bazel already exists

why isn't anyone vibe-coding a better version of gradle? 🤷

@theapache64 Which part of it? I'm fine w gradle DSL/APIs but I would LOVE faster builds. So maybe "build a faster jvm, make no mistakes" instead?

@PavitraGolchha nice.. the deal breaker for me is code navigation in a multi-module project. am okay to sacrifice other goodness for that 😄

@theapache64 your thoughts on moving Android development to vscode? One key thing to miss IMP is not the tooling, but the IntelliJ code intelligence layer. I am hoping for a stable release of the official Kotlin LSP that will get somewhat there.

Spent countless time getting emulator to run inside VS Code. Happy to see that finally I made it happen 🎉🥳 Need more testing and polishing the rough edges. Coming soon to Android DevKit.

My sister @ShobhaTharoor’s @X account was hacked on April 14 by a shady business which used her handle to tweet an advertisement for themselves. She complained and the fake tweet was taken down, but she can’t log back in despite changing her password, because a two-factor authentication code has been set up (by the hacker or by @X) which she obviously doesn’t know. She has written to the service portal of @X every day since the 14th but the only response she has received is to click on a link to disable the 2FA. The link does not work. There is no customer service number to call. She has asked me to appeal to the grand panjandrums at @X: Can someone help her access her account? Thanks, @Elonmusk!
