Did a maths and I have spent around 1.40 lkhs for a trip of 4 to Sri Lanka. Used 0 miles. I didn't stay in fancy hotels but nice Airbnbs, used taxis like I own them cars 🤣 ate in the fanciest cafe, ordered all those top of the menu food and used cards everywhere I could. Total number of days 7. Damn! Sri Lanka is everything that I had hoped out of Goa at much cheaper rate. Visit Sri Lanka and enjoy their hospitality. I will put forward my detailed itinerary. I didn't follow one and randomly just booked a ticket and didn't even google anything about place until I visited the spots.

actually surprised to learn how early a typical american tech worker's day starts > up by 5:45 AM > in office by 8:30 AM > breakfast is max 15 mins > lunch might just be a sandwich while working > out by 4:30 PM whereas most Indian offices start by 10AM, lunch-breakfasts are dedicated 30-60 mins "away periods", and we wrap up by 6-7 PM. obviously, gross generalization but most folks I've interacted with have a similar routine.
