Emerging from the workshop were conversations around ethics in storytelling in its entirety, personal storytelling as well as the transformative power in storytelling overall.
another day another moment for storytelling, this time we had a lovely time facilitating a workshop on storytelling using verbatim theatre tools for visiting students and colleagues from the @thechicagoschool of professional Psychology
The power of storytelling once again won because it showed us that we can use stories to not only identify challenges, but to find solutions for them too. The workshops and training programs that we offer remind us that storytelling belongs everywhere and to everyone, everyday.
We hosted an informative and engaging storytelling workshop for @MSF_southafrica here in Johannesburg using and applying storytelling tools and principles to improve our abilities to learn, solve problems, and make sense of the world
Co-Directed by Mahlatsi Mokgonyana and Billy Langa [Theatreduo] who are known for their mastery of physical theatre, the company combined different registers to bring this metaphor to life, exploring the tragic situation of human politics through the use of fantastical images.
