NEW: Groton police officer talks man down from jumping off Gold Star Bridge after he states “just hug me” On Sunday, Groton police responded to a man on the Gold Star Bridge on I-95 who was threatening to jump. Bodycam shows Officer Matthew Albee, a former Eastern Connecticut State University baseball player, calmly talking the man down. The man eventually stated he just needed a hug: “Just hug me, man. I just need a hug.” “I got you, brother. I’m not going anywhere,” Albee said. The man was safely taken for a mental health evaluation.

The law used to allow 18-20 to drink and smoke. Didn’t allow them to consent to sex. Tell me, what’s your definition of a child/minor then?

Not being able to buy alcohol/cigarettes doesnt make someone a child, and I dont know if you know this, but minors under 18 in ur country can be arrested/drive. At 21 they can buy cigarettes/alcohol, so in ur logic, 18-20 are children.

In your own country US, the AgeOfConsent is 16/18(and in some states 14), in EU it's 14/15. If anyone under 18 is a child, then is 18 preadolescent? R u stupid?
