@Super70sSports Had a cardboard standup of Larry holding a case of Coors or Bud that I stole from a convince store when I was 13, I pretended to make it walk down the hall and my dog shit all over the place when it scared her…I can only imagine what other players must of have felt.

So I wouldn’t be a true @townofwinthrop resident if I didn’t come back and thank the DPW for being proactive and coming out up barricades before today’s high tide.

Random request, but does anyone out there know of a real estate attorney, or is one, that I can ask an easement specific question to? I think this is a really unique situation as I have found 0 similar cases and I want to make sure I have my facts straight.

The storm was not a surprise. The water was not a surprise. The @townofwinthrop saying “we have flooding in other parts of town the tide will go back out soon enough” and leaving the citizens of Morton and Banks without help again was also not a surprise.

High tide was at 10:15. These were placed sometime between 11:45 and 1, when the tide was already on the way back out.

To be clear I’m not talking about coming down here and evacuating us or anything…all we asked for was for someone to place some barriers to stop vehicles from driving through the water. It rose another few inches and each passing vehicle cased a surge into peoples homes.

Miss you buddy. Would love to see you and the crew mix it up with Stretch Arm Strong. Let me know if you and the fam will be up our way at some point.
