The way we recorded the guitars on this record was extremely complicated. Even though the songs only have 2 guitars and bass, we ended up using like 40 tracks between all the different microphones.
@theavulsions Oh, so does that mean, because I removed the G# root, the root note BECOMES D# because it’s the first note in the chord now? If so, amazing, because even I can understand that!
Anyone know what this chord is called? It’s like G# minor, not playing the root note and leaving high E and B strings open. I use it a lot and have no idea. Also I’m generally clueless.
Thrift Score just now: some goth dumped their CD collection and I got a big stack of Bauhaus, Fields of Nephilim, Sisters of Mercy, Depeche Mode, Ministry, Revolting Cocks and a bunch of Sonic Youth 🤯
