@skyeakbar I reckon if you drilled down, a lot of non-indigenous people are not so proud, or have little understanding of their history. As a kiwi, we grew up understanding, in detail, the history of our colonisation of Aotearoa.

@skyeakbar I think I get your question. I dont think many would assume that. If there was a position to teach indigenous people about “our” history, you would struggle to get anyone to put there hands up. I am proud of my history (nz/uk), and know it, but not sure many do. I’d do it.
