From the #RIBAcollections: in an otherwise gloomy city, the Blackfriar bridge gives London an omnipresent pop of color. The iron balustrade was designed in 1869 in Gothic Revival style, and the red & white color scheme brilliantly conceals its age without hiding its elegance.

A bit of peculiarity never hurts...🛠️ From the #RIBAcollections: this head-turner is the M2 located in Tokyo. Designed by Kengo Kuma, it features an oversized Doric column fusing into the portions flanking beside, making it the second weirdest structure in Tokyo.
