I think the funniest thing in retrospect is how a bunch of characters with like five seconds of screen time are beloved by Andor fans much more than like the majority of the lead characters of this movie lmao

@BenGSchout I take the argument that Andor is all the setup to the flashy heroics that come into the original trilogy. There's not a lot of logic to it but I think it works metaphorically (like how if you watch the end credits to the finale of Andor it fades from the show score to the movie

One of the dumber progressive fads. Eventually, it increases segregation: rich parents put their kids in private schools with honor classes, poorer kids stay at publics without them. No improvements in educational outcomes, of course.

It is absurd that Palo Alto School district just voted to remove honors biology for all students & already removed honors English. They call it de-laning. I call it an assault on excellence. I took many honors classes at Council Rock High in PA.

@Sturgeons_Law Also from what I've read studies in other districts found that it led to increased enrollment in AP classes, which seems more important for academic standards than honors

@Sturgeons_Law Seems a bit of an extreme reaction? Maybe things have changed since I went to school in Palo Alto but honors biology is a freshman level class
