Quick PSA: I'd appreciate it if people didn't message me with treatments/cures for my chronic illnesses - because there are none. If there was, my doctor would be able to offer it to me.

@theslowlane_ME Thinking of you, I hope it eases soon. I know that doesn't change the fear now. Always here 💙

At that stage where a symptom is worse and you think 'is this my new normal? Will it go back? Or will it keep getting worse?'. I guess only time will tell.

How about businesses just get ramp access rather than the financial burden being on disabled people *once again* to pay for a stair-climbing wheelchair? A concept.

I'm sure there's many more. My brain has drawn a blank. Some of these will relate to other mobility aids and those who don't use them, too. Privilege doesn't mean you have it easy. It just means your life isn't made more difficult because of *this* reason. TED talk done x

Not having to explain your weight gain is because of medication and you do try to eat well, not that you should have to explain that when it's not what you're seeking medical attention for! Not having to navigate a new place and it being overwhelming at the best of times.

I want to elaborate here - being able to go out without planning your route, being able to not have the worry of affording mobility equipment/charging it before you go/repair costs/accessible vehicle to get from A to B... Privilege means you don't have *this* hardship, not none.
