The Toronto Danmei Symposium last weekend was a huge success! Thank you to everyone for coming out in the cold for a cozy afternoon of learning about and loving danmei novels!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out yesterday! We truly felt your enthusiasm and support 💛 On our way back, we were still talking about how we never expected such a warm and passionate response. It gave us so much confidence and motivation to join more events in the future. As many of you know, this was our first time doing something like this! Huge thanks to @TheBeguiling for putting everything together! We had such a great time chatting with you all and talking about Danmei! We will be setting up a Reddit community soon so it will be easier for everyone to chat with us, ask questions, and get updates. We will also share English previews there. For example, for Eternal Gate, we will be posting the full first volume online for free! Stay tuned 👀 And yes, we know this post is a little late hahaha 😂 After we left the library, Downtown Toronto traffic completely destroyed us 💀 The whole city was just stuck. I was the driver and honestly just wanted to abandon the car and walk!!! The others were getting carsick from all the stop and go hahaha! We finally came back to life after hot pot 🍲✨ We ran straight into rush hour on the 401, and the entire highway was glowing red on the map. So we escaped to Yorkdale to walk around for a bit! What a full day 😜 Hopefully next time we can even bring the author to Toronto for a signing event ✍️ That would be amazing 😊

Next stop on the Pesto Comics Roadshow: @thebeguiling This shop is more than just a store. It's comics history! The first Eisner award winning store (shared with 2 more) and an engine for independent comics. A must visit in Toronto.
