I almost took my own life last week.
What stopped me was a local friend being willing to just be with me and remind me of the truth, and he sacrificed his own good for me. It broke me in a way so as to allow healing.
Don’t underestimate the power of local community…

This afternoon, our family dog Scooby passed away at age 19. He was adventurous and loved to always go with us when he could. He was also brave and would stand up to bigger dogs. He loved burrowing himself in blankets and loved food. I will miss you very much. God bless you.
