@m1keydev Totally. I honestly avoid tech twitter for the most part. I mean how many pointless like-baiting/retweet-baiting “X tech is bad. Y tech is better. Fight me.” Tweets does one need to engage in? It’s pointless noise.

Well, if anyone wants to watch my 7yo stream playing Diablo 3: twitch.tv/spruebot Lol. She just asked "can I stream something?". Sure! We don'thave a mic or headset yet, so she won't be talking. But if anyone wants to jump on there and send a chat, it'd sure make her day.

@ceeoreo_ But it had custom styling for each persons characters. Private messaging before “DMs”. Ability to create custom rooms on fly and make them permanent if an admin wanted to. Image embedding. Dice rolling. And it was streaming chat when that was rare. I should rebuild it some day.

I have to say starting new web projects on open source technologies in 2021 is no fun. The amount of complexity that is thrown your way left and right is absolutely mind-boggling and it's completely unclear which tech is going to stick around for more than 4 years.
