@gregisenberg You’re right. When I was in university, I was already concerned with people who google everything IMMEDIATELY instead of examining, analyzing, and understanding on their own first.
Now with AI, everything is going to be spoon fed to them. We need to repurpose an old system.

@Jacobsklug Agreed. That’s why I always add this in my prompt: “Please remain brutally honest, you do not have to agree with my statement” 😅

@csaba_kissi I’ve tried Typescript… I’ll never go back to Javascript

@fidexcode 2 ways!
1. Documentations: Diagrams and API Specs.
2. Demos: We showcase how it works and explain in plain English terms OR business terms
A non-technical person given the right context and domain would understand what problem our work solves. 😌

@Ririonsui @Goodylili Well deserved! Congratulations 🍻

On the 17th of October, I got a text
It was the day of my sign out from the University
Unexpected of what the day held
It all started with a "Hello"
Then I turned a MacBook owner.
This year is packed with a lot of things
From losing all of my gadgets
..my phone, laptop, tablet to a robbery
To upgrading some of them
My last day of school was made
It isn't a day to forget.
A very big thank you to @Goodylili for this amazing gift, my last day of school was made🥹
I was told I'm the right owner
If this isn't God, who is then? 🥺😭
You didn’t just give me a MacBook, you gave me motivation to keep going. 🥹💙
I am a UI/UX Designer but haven't had the chance to make designs and put it on here..
No more excuses!, no more holding back.❤️
It’s time to get back to doing what I love, designing, creating, and showing up with purpose.
Say hello to your new MacBook Owner😍❤️
Please help me show some love and appreciation to @Goodylili in the comments 🥹❤️

I’m giving out my M1 Air MacBook. Was going to sell it but I remember when I was starting out in tech and I also needed a laotop (didn’t get a free one). I hope this makes a difference for new owner. Instructions 👇

This is a side effect of when you surround yourself with purple smarter than you. It’s that harsh trigger for you to learn more. Lean into it! 💯

People call it "imposter syndrome." Sometimes it's just awareness. You've seen how much you don't know, and that’s what keeps you learning.

I think I now understand why @olanetsoft and @SemudaraAbayomi help the up and coming tech community with laptops.
English

@benln I like how you did not have to point out what it is and yet we all understood what that “small detail” is. That’s how big its value is in terms of UX. 💯
English

@BatsouElef Congrats!
Pro tip: The leaf of the apple should point towards you when you’re setting it down on your table and you’re going to work on it. That way, the laptop is oriented correctly for you to open it 🤣

@dwarkesh_sp Yes! I also think about how I passed on the opportunity to join Hackathons and Startup competitions 😬😬

@readswithravi The Diary of a CEO. The 33 Laws of Business And Life! 💯 Halfway through it!

@kotov_dev I agree.
There’s levels to this actually. Using Dog, Cat, and Animal classes are good examples for beginners and first timers. It allows them to frame the classes using analogies.
Intermediate and advanced examples should be given too and this is where your point comes in!
English

When I learned OOP, every book used Dog, Cat, and Animal classes.
I thought: "Classes must model real-world objects."
Later, I saw code with classes like:
› AuthenticationHandler
› DataSerializer
› CacheManager
Eureka!
Classes aren't just mirrors of reality—they're abstractions for organizing logic.
Real code rarely deals with Dogs and Cats unless you're building vet clinic software.
