Cancellation of Love's Labour's Lost that was due to take place in the Museum grounds in July. We apologise to our loyal audience and all those would-be actors and actresses and crew who were looking forward to taking part in the summer show.

There's a lot more to The Castle Players than the actors you see on stage. A dedicated team of volunteers are busying away behind the scenes. Takes a whole week to put together the staging, set and lighting together to create our theatre at The Bowes Museum

Twin Tipple, our own real ale specially brewed for The Comedy of Errors, has just been delivered to The Old Well Inn by Pete from Mithril Ales. Pop in for a pint next week before you go to see the show at The Bowes Museum.

Oscar is a puppet I made earlier this year. He is performing with @thecastleplayer in Always by Your Side, a play about dementia awareness that will tour to local junior schools at the end of March.
